This flash gives slightly more bang for the buck than the manufacturer's own flash with roughly the same power output. However, the build is less solid, some users report erratic exposure control, the manual mode is crippled, and the user interface is less intuitive.
Canon-version triggered via system-specific pins. Can not be fired from centre contact of the hot shoe.
