Acer Iconia Tablet B1 710
- Hello. Can I assume that by the lack of response to my post, that it's not worth keeping the tablet. It would be nice to get some some of response.Nick.
- have you tried a factory reset from recovery?if you can't reach the recovery menu, you can't do pretty much with Acer official ROM.0
- I got to the recovery menu and started the hard reset but the screen is stuck on the android 'formatting/reset' screen, and the blue bar just above the android, which I assume should be moving, is frozen. Is there no way of downloading the operating system directly and overwriting everything?I love this little machine as it's been probably one of the best gadgets I've ever had and I'd like to be able to get it running again.Nick.
- Try to download this image:but it's only 400MB and so, it's not the complete system but maybe can rewrite what is needed.have a look if inside the downloaded zip there's another, you need to copy that zip, if not, simply copy the downloaded zip to the microSD, put it on the tablet and from recovery choose to update from zip file and select it.
